Behind Anima Art SB

We are three students who connected through a passion for art; collectively we love to draw and create. Our company is a university project arranged by the University of South-Eastern Norway to teach us how to use our creative skills to run a company.

In addition to art, we were drawn together by our love for animals, manga and anime; we wanted to incorporate this into our illustrations. The seasonal critters collection draws inspiration from the charming characters of Studio Ghibli, and the works of Eiichiro Oda. Lunar critters show off the full majesty of Norwegian wildlife in the light of the moon.

Meet the Team

Marta Maria Polovnycha (“Marty”)

She’s an artist who enjoys character art, and is greatly inspired by the art of animation. Explore the creatures of each season in Marty’s “seasonal critters” collection.

André Stabell Kongerød

The creator of “lunar critters”. Every one of his illustrations is based on a different phase of the moon. He is an excellent technical artist which shines through in his art. Depicting Norwegian animals and plants shows his fascination with the nature around him.

Michèle Cassandra Bence

Crucial for any project is the administration's invisible work. She has designed the website you are currently visiting. Also an aspiring artist with passion for art, she has set that aside to focus on administration, web design and daily leadership.

Pudding

The loving and adorable face of the company is our mascot Pudding. He has a lot of responsibility to bear which tiers him out. On his days off his favourite thing to do is relax, although he sometimes also does so when on the job.

In a world where AI generated pictures are becoming more common, our wish is to offer an alternative. As artists with strong values we continue to create art with passion and soul.

Our designs celebrate the nature that surrounds us. We wish to make people observant of this beautiful world we live in.
